Entwurf: Jörmungandaal

Eine grobe Idee, mal schauen, was ich dann bei der Umsetzung alles spontan verändern werde. ;)

Jörmungandal ist die Midgardschlange, Kind von Loki und somit in der germanischen Mythologie einer der drei Weltfeinde.

Sol

Okay, so here it is, the northern goddess of the sun, Sol.

Her brother Mani is the god of the moon.
Sol is driving in her coach across the sky with her horses Arvakr and Alsvidr. A shield called Swalin protects from the heat of the sun.
Sol is hunted by the huge wolf Skalli. When he comes closer than before a solar eclipse follows. And when the world ends at Ragnarök Skalli will devour Sol, her coach and her horses.

What i thought about Sol:
Except of red, yellow and orange in my face (fire and sun, but also spirit and energy) I wanted to use much black to symbolize coal. So my hair was dyed again and a black top was added.

Hel

Finally i did Hel and I'm quite disappointed about the quality of the pictures.
But okay, I think everything that's important is visible.

What I thought about Hel:
She is a daughter of Loki and the goddess of the underworld. Many sources say that her body is half woman half corpse. But i didn't want to do a skull over the half of my face because so many people did it for their halloween make up...
Hel is not only the name of the goddess but also of the underworld itself. (That's where the word "hell" is from.)
Everybody, the good and the evil, come there. But there're differences in treating them. Rapists and murderer must walk through the toxic streams around Hel's castle and the dragon Nidhöggr lives on their corpses...

I wanted to create sharp edges to show the borderline between life and death. The blended black on the temples should demonstrate the deep shadows of Hel's world.

Entwurf "Sol"

Zwischen Pappkartons und leeren Schränken habe ich meinen Pinsel geschwungen und endlich einen weiteren Entwurf zustande gebracht.

Dieser Tage mache ich mich ins X-tra-X, um noch die letzten Reste Make Up zusammenzukaufen und dann gehts los. Ich weiß allerdings noch nicht, ob ich zuerst Hel oder Sol umsetze. Mal sehen ... ^^

Entwurf "Hel"

Mitten im Umzugsstress habe ich schnell mein nächstes Projekt gepinselt.
Hier ist der Entwurf:

Die Hauptfarben werden schwarz, weiß und silber (schlecht zu erkennen ^^).
Dann werde ich mal versuchen, den Spaß zwischen Auftritten, Proben, Umzug und Training so schnell wie möglich auf die Beine zu stellen. XD
